Description
Agave Succulent Crown started out as a photograph shot from the top of the plant, looking down. Using various digital methods I isolated the star created by the very top of the desert plant and turned the photo into a stylized painting of the succulent. Beautiful greens, blues and purples surround the yellow-orange crown as the plants tubercles radiate outward creating a multi-layered star. I then placed the image against a soft taupe background that allows the image to work well with most color schemes.
