Snow dusted rugged limestone rock outcroppings stand out starkly against a brilliant blue sky and bright white clouds on a recent hike up to Rifugio Tuckett in the Italian Alps.

My companions and I started out in the hamlet of Madonna di Campiglia to make the 2,400 foot trek to the summit. What can I say, we were treated to spectacular views at every turn!
