Description
Giant Tree Fern fine art photography. Prehistoric looking, the giant tree fern is found in rain forests and tropical mountain areas. Also known as Sphaeropteris brunoniana, the plants are large, reaching heights between 30-60 feet with fronds reaching up to six feet across. I photographed this young fern while hiking in a mountainous area of Hawaii.
