Horizontal abstract art print of my original alcohol ink painting "The Watchers."
Rendered in tones of blue and gold, this piece lends itself nicely to not only wall art but textiles and on items of home decor as well. The color blue, from a psychology perspective, can be interpreted as something reliable and responsible. Blue exhibits an inner security and confidence. The ability to take control and do the right thing in difficult times. The color gold is often associated with courage, compassion and wisdom.
That this piece is made of blue and gold makes sense to me as when I observe it, I see tall men in hats standing shoulder to shoulder, perhaps in the shadows, perhaps watching, perhaps protecting.
