I have been the mom of schnauzers for all my married life, so going on 35 years, and I just can't get enough of them. They are smart, cute, compact, don't shed and very loving. Sure they bark a little now and then, but the noise is worth it!

I have always had the miniature version. Did you know there are three varieties? Miniature, standard and giant. I've read that the mini schnauzer can reach up to 15 pounds in weight. Not sure about that one though because I'm on my 4th and 5th and I've never had one below 16 pounds. Standard schnauzers reach up to 44 pounds and giant schnauzers up to 110 on the high end! That's a lot of schnauzer!
